Sharon High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time American Sign Language (ASL) teacher to join our collaborative World Languages and Cultures Department. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic educator capable of teaching students across a range of proficiency levels, from Novice Low to Intermediate Mid. A valid Massachusetts teaching license in American Sign Language is preferred but a plan to become certified could be accepted.

Our department follows the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines and embraces proficiency-based, communicative approaches to language instruction, including visual and interactive strategies that support ASL acquisition. The ideal candidate is also someone eager to plan and support cultural learning opportunities, events, or exchanges related to the Deaf community.
