Job Description

This part-time non-tenure track position within the will teach up to two courses in American Sign Language.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach American Sign Language (ASL) at the undergraduate level (ASL I andASL II).
  • Develop ASL I and ASL II courses fully online using Canvas, and maintain office hours virtually.


Required Education & Experience:
  • Master's degree (MA/MS) with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline. An Ed.D. is preferred.
  • No prior teaching experience required.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use virtual technology and related software to support online teaching.
